Q: 為何已寄出紙本成績單, status 仍顯示not received？
A: 如學生尚未畢業, 就算寄出彌封文件, status 仍會顯示not received, 需待學生提交完整的成績單及畢業證書, 才會顯示official.
For a transcript to be considered official, it must come in a sealed envelope from the university, have all final grades, and confer a degree, if applicable. A transcript is not considered final or official if you are still attending the university.
Q: 是否需先完成TOEFL/IELTS 成績加發？
A: Yes. TOEFL code: 2557.
Q: NYU SPS 學院不要求GRE/GMAT, 如學生有考 是否可提供？
A: 如達以下分數可提供作為加分使用, Successful candidates have met the recommended combined score of 310 or 1100 on the GRE or 550 on the GMAT.
Q: 國際學生是否需完成Evaluation of Foreign Transcripts？
A: Yes, each foreign transcript must be evaluated for equivalency to the US educational system for admission and transfer credit purposes. Moving forward, evaluations are acceptable only from the following NACES accredited organizations.

Q: submit 後多久能收到VEPT 考試通知？
A: submit 後約48 小時, 學生會收到NYU 通知status 的信件, 信件上有學生的Application ID 及VEPT 考試連結 VEPT Test Procedures
Q: 無法登入VEPT？
A: 收到ID 後需等待2-3 天, NYU 需先開通ID 學生才能登入, 第一次登入的帳號密碼皆為Application ID.

Q: 學生需符合什麼條件才能waive VEPT 考試？
A: TOEFL/IELTS scores are required for any applicant who did not complete at least three years of undergraduate studies within the United States or an English-speaking country. The VEPT test will be waived if an applicant scores at least 100 on the TOEFL, or a 7 on IELTS.
Applicants applying to programs in the Division of Programs in Business (Human Capital Analytics and Technology, Human Resources Management and Development, Integrated Marketing, Public Relations and Corporate Communications, Management and Systems, Project Management) or Schack are required to meet a minimum of 110 on the TOEFL, or 8 on the IELTS to be waived from VEPT.
Q: 學生需符合什麼條件才能waive TOEFL/IELTS？
A: If you would like an exemption from this policy, you must submit a written request after you have submitted your application, and before a final decision has been rendered. The request should indicate why the waiver should be granted. Waivers will not be granted without a written request, nor after an application has been reviewed.
Automatic exemptions from this policy only apply to those applicants who have earned a four-year undergraduate degree in the United States or in a country where English is the only primary language.
A TOEFL or IELTS waiver may be requested for the following:
If an official letter is submitted by the institution stating all classes were conducted in English.
If it is stated on the academic transcript or school website that all classes are conducted in English.
If a graduate degree was conducted in English or the institution is in a country where English is the only primary language.
If the applicant completed 3 years of undergraduate studies at an institution where English is the medium of instruction and 1 year at their international institution.
We reserve the right to request a TOEFL, IELTS, or English Language Assessment from a U.S citizen or permanent resident if your primary language is not English.
