Claremont Graduate University 克萊蒙研究大學是一所南加州的小型私立學校，是七所 The Claremont Colleges 克萊蒙特學院聯盟成員之一，全美唯一完全致力於研究生以上的學校。

 Claremont 位處於加州，是小巧的城市；距離LA 市中心約54公里，開車約40分鐘，人口約35,000人；被CNN/Money Magazine 評選為全美前100個最適合居住城市第五名。被喻為是City of Trees & Ph.D’s。

Claremont Graduate University 克萊蒙研究大學是一所南加州的小型私立學校，是七所 The Claremont Colleges 克萊蒙特學院聯盟成員之一，全校約2千多位學生，成立於1925年簡稱為CGU，特色是「僅」提供研究所課程，其中也包括MFA課程，是資訊科學教育的尖端機構！美國授與最多資訊管理博士學位的學校。

此外，政治經濟學院也頗引人矚目，因爲它推重跨學科研究，鼓勵政治學家和經濟學家跨學科合作。

CGU 跟其他的名校比起來，華人知道的不多（因爲它的七所院校清一色是私立大學，學費高昂，直逼哈佛，且給外國學生的獎學金偏少）。但美國主流社會，特別是有子女的美國中上層社會對之卻耳聞能詳，因爲他們的子女在考慮上那所名牌大學的時候，克萊蒙大學是在必考慮之列的。

學校名人

彼得·杜拉克 Peter Drucker (1909年11月19日－2005年11月11日) :「現代管理學之父」&「當代最不朽的管理思想大師」。1971年搬到Claremont並在Claremont Graduate University 教書至2002年，於2005 辭世在Claremont家中。管理學院於1987年以他的名字把管理學院命名為 Peter F. Drucker Graduate School in his honor.
